UK Modern Slavery Act Statement for Financial Year 2024

This statement sets out the steps that Verisign has taken to help prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within the Company’s business and its supply chain and is intended to comply with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Verisign is a global technology company providing domain name registry services and critical internet infrastructure. Our supply chain is largely composed of suppliers of hardware, software and telecommunications services, where the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking is low. We have taken the following steps to help ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in our business or supply chain:

  • Verisign adheres to a published Code of Conduct that requires employees to uphold the Company’s commitment to human rights and forbids employees from working with any company or individual that engages in human rights abuses including forced labor, unlawful child labor or human trafficking. All employees receive mandatory training on the Code of Conduct and certify compliance with the Code annually.
  • Verisign requires suppliers to adhere to a published Supplier Code of Conduct that forbids human trafficking or any form of slavery. Failure to adhere to the Supplier Code of Conduct is a breach of the supplier’s agreement with Verisign.
